Red Apple Days is a small town festival held on the first full weekend of August with free games and activities for the kids, great ole fashioned competitions like Cornhole Tournament, pie eating contest, bobbing for apples and more! We have a gospel concert on Friday night and Live music on Saturday. Craft and food vendors come from all over to be part of this hidden gem and we always end the festivities with Fireworks Show weather permitting.

The Red Apple Days Festival is a community event to raise funds for the Auburntown Volunteer Fire Department.

Gospel Concert
Friday Night we kick off the Red Apple Days Festival with a Gospel Concert featuring local talent, community church groups and chart topping positive country music artists. Red Apple Run 5K
The Red Apple Days has partnered with Running 1.4.u to present the Red Apple Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. You can preregister to guarantee a race shirt and goodie bag. Same Day Registration begins at 6 AM and Race Starts promptly at 7AM at the Auburntown Community Center on E Main Street in Auburntown. Race awards will be presented at the main stage of the Red Apple Days Festival at 9AM. For more information click here. Miss Red Apple Days Pageant
The Miss Red Apple Days Pageant promotes a positive environment and self-image for girls age 0-21 with a focus on poise, confidence and community involvement. Contestants must register online and have all optional competition submissions sent in by July 30th to participate. The pageant starts promptly at 10:30AM and registration and check in begins at 9:30AM. The People’s Choice will provide pageant observers and opportunity to vote for their favorite contestant by donating $1 per vote. for more information click here. The AVFD Cruise-In
Cruise in and show off your ride at the AVFD Cruise in. All makes and models welcome! $5 Entry Fee. Win door prizes and awards. The best overall car/truck/tractor will be awarded the illustrious Chiefs Trophy. Family Fun & Field Day Games
We love having good old fashioned fun, and what is more fun than a three legged race, or potato sack race, or tug-o-war. Come out and join us as we put our best foot, or feet forward and have some fun and laughs with these field day style games. All provided for free by the Auburntown Volunteer Fire Department. Compete for bragging rights of the best baker in Auburntown in the annual Red Apple Baking Contest. Awards will be given in 4 areas of competition, Appleiest Baked Good, Most Creative, Best Presentation, and Best Overall. The Three Rules are – You must Bake it, It Must Contain Apples, and It must be submitted by 4:30 PM for judging. This is a free competition to anyone who enters. Live Musical Performance
Saturday afternoon and evening will be filled with live musical performances by local and up and coming artist. We carefully chose our performers to ensure a family friendly atmosphere and entertainment that everyone can enjoy. Bring a lawn chair or pop a squat under the big tent and enjoy the show. We are pleased to present the Auburntown Red Apple Days Festival Fireworks Show to close things out Saturday night. The show will be put on by our friends at the Mooretown Volunteer Fire Department and is made possible by donations from our generous festival sponsors.
